The activity of the Centre for Identification Systems is based on international standards and recommendations issued by ISO, UN, GS1, W3C for identification, classification and cataloguing of products as well as confirmation of their origin, quality and safety. The research and development efforts of the Centre for Identification Systems are essential for adoption of digital business logic in supply chains across both domestic and international markets, as required by the UN/CEFACT buy-ship-pay model, as well as the WTO and ICC “Standards Toolkit for Cross-border Paperless Trade” – 2022. The projects developed by the Centre for Identification Systems have been honoured with national and international awards.
